Saving Customer Emails and Letters
RezOvation Desktop allows you to save a copy of emails and letters sent to a guest on a reservation so that you can view them later. In order to save letters or emails, you must follow the steps below.
1. Go to Tools > Configuration and select the Functionality tab. Find the entry for "Default action after print letter or email" and select either "Prompt" or "Auto Save". If you select Prompt then you will have the option to choose which letters are saved.

2. Right-click on the reservation for which you would like to print a letter or send an email and select Print Letter.

3. The Print Letter screen will appear. Make any customizations you wish, and then select either Print or Email. If prompted to save the letter, choose Yes. The letter will be saved along with any customizations made.


4. To view this letter at a later time, select the letter from the Contact Log on the left hand side of the Contact Data screen, and click the Edit button.

5. A detail window will appear. Click the View button to view a copy of the letter, which you can then print if you wish.
