Credit Card Processing
RezOvation GT now includes the ability to process credit cards! RezOvation has teamed up with QuickBooks to build a complete credit card processing solution that allows you to process all of your credit cards right through RezOvation GT. If you're using the Booking Engine, you can even take deposits online, all through the same account that you use for phone reservations or check-ins and check-outs.

Automatic Reminder and Follow-up Emails
Now you can schedule automatic reminder and follow-up emails for guests before they arrive and after they depart. For example, you can send an email a few days before the guest arrives reminding of them of their reservation and providing them with directions. You can also schedule reminder and greeting emails for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Edit Outgoing Emails in RezOvation GT
Now you can edit emails right in RezOvation GT before sending them. This new feature automatically opens Word within RezOvation GT whenever you send an individual email. Make whatever changes you wish -- using the full flexibility of Word -- and click Send when you're done.
To turn this feature on, go to Configuration  , select Email Settings and select the option for "Preview emails before sending".
Improved Payment System
Now it's easier than ever to record payments in RezOvation GT. Right click on any reservation to add payments easily, either from the occupancy map ...
... or from the Reservation List.
Payments can also be added from the Edit Reservation screen, and each payment type is separated out to make recording payments and refunds faster.
Credit Card Hold is now featured as a separate selection, making it easier to add a credit card hold, validate card numbers, better secure the credit card hold information, and track more information such as cardholder billing address.
The credit card hold also displays right in the transaction list.
Availability Calendar
If you are a RezOvation Booking Engine user, you can now take advantage of our new Availability Calendar option which displays all of your available rooms in a grid along with room photos. Use it instead of the normal date search option, or alongside it. Please go to Configuration > Booking Engine Settings to obtain your availability calendar link information.

Availability Search Plugin for your Website
If you are a RezOvation Booking Engine user, you can now embed the availability search box right in your website so your guests have a more seamless experience. Please go to Configuration > Booking Engine Settings to obtain your availability search link information.

Bug Fixes and Stability Enhancements
- Fixed a crash that would occur when creating e-mail list from Marketing Tools menu.
- Fixed missing state field in the Marketing Tools export list.
- Fixed a problem in the Guest Folio printout where credit card payments did not always display the correct card #. This would only occur when multiple payments were added to a reservation.
- Fixed calculations for advance deposit liabilities and gift certificate liabilities in the summary report.
- Improved updater so that it doesn't crash in certain rare circumstances when attempting to update a large database.
- Fixed a problem where the number of adults was getting set to 0 on reservation when a package is applied.
- Fixed a crash that would occur when checking in a report or letter template on some Vista computers.
- Booking Engine will now display a deposit required if it is set in Configuration > Payment and Cancellation Fees, even if an integrated payment gateway is not being used.
- Fixed an error that occurred when selecting the custom filter for "Number of Stays" from the Customer List.
- Fixed a problem where some email notifications for Expedia reservations were displaying the incorrect room.
- Updated Rate Matrix update job so that it recovers more gracefully if it fails.
- Fixed QuickBooks export issue which caused some advance deposit payments to not appear in the export file.
- Fixed a problem where the credit card address would occasionally stick to Alabama.
- Fixed minor formatting and wording issue with the Email Cancellation Letter.
- Fixed an issue with the character encoding of letter and email templates which would sometimes cause letters and emails to have garbage characters, usually appearing as a question mark (?). To apply this fix, you will need to check-out and check-in all of your affected letters and emails through the template configuration. Simply select check-out and then check-in -- there is no need to delete and recreate the templates.
- Credit card numbers are now validated when adding a credit card hold.
