New Features & Improvements
- Gift Certificate management list view, which allows you to easily view / edit / manage all of your gift certificates and pre-paid accounts. To access this feature, click the "Gift" icon on the toolbar.
- Gift Certificate online checkout. This feature is available for Booking Engine users only, and allows you to sell your own "house" gift certificates online. To access this feature, simply place the Gift Certificate booking link on your site. This link can be found under Configuration > Booking Engine, in the "Booking engine integration with your website" section.
- Search feature for the Gift Certificate lookup screen. This screen appears when you are applying a gift certificate payment, and allows you to search for a gift certificate by number, purchaser, to, and from fields.
- Added a export feature to the customer and reservation list, which allows you to export any customer and reservation data to a CSV (spreadsheet) file. To access this feature, select File > Export from the customer or reservation list.
- Added a "Do Not Move" feature to the Occupancy map. To access this feature, right-click on any room reservation on the Occupancy Map and select "Do Not Move". If you then attempt to move the room, a warning message will appear and you will not be able to move the reservation to another room or another date.
- Reservations with credit card holds now display as orange on occupancy map. You can change this color by going to Configuration > Lists and Occupancy map (bottom right side of the Configuration screen), and selecting "choose occupancy map colors".
- Added additional data columns to the reservation list, including # of nights, # of guests, # of adults, # of children, arrival time, departure time, total charges, and total tax.
- List columns now "stick" when you reorder them. To reorder a list column, simply left-click on the column header and drag it to the left or right. The order will be saved when you close the program.
- Added a new Reservation Balance report. This report displays running totals through a specific date of any reservations which have a balance. This includes in house, departed, and future reservations.
- Added a new Reservation By Booking Date summary report. This report displays aggregate information about reservations booked for a particular date range, including % of reservations booked online vs offline, and more.
- Added a new user security level which prevents certain users from deleting reservations and customers, and canceling reservations. To access this feature, go to Configuration > Users (bottom right side), open the User you wish to edit, and uncheck the box for "delete customers and reservations" and "cancel reservations".
- Added a room sorting option for reports, which allows you to determine whether reports sort by room name, room abbreviation, or room type (if applicable to your configuration). You can access this feature by going to Configuration > Reports (bottom right side of the Configuration screen).
- Payment Detail and Advance Deposit Detail reports can now be filtered by time. The time filter is only available for reports run for a single day (e.g. "today").
- Open Office can now be used for editing templates and previewing emails. This feature is currently in beta. If you wish to use it, please contact support. Version 3.1 is currently supported.
- Customer total purchases are now displayed on the View Customer screen and on the Customer list.
- Added a "Payment time" code to the Payments Detail and Advance Deposit Detail reports.
- Warning messages that have been disabled (such as the cancel warning message) can now be re-enabled by going to Configuration > Lists and Occupancy Map (bottom right side of the Configuration screen).
- Added individual customer phone codes to reservation / customer document templates (work, home, mobile).
- Added room type, room abbreviation, and full room name codes to all reservation document templates.
- The date will now display at the bottom of the Booking Engine availability calendar, which is helpful for properties with a large number of rooms.
- Improved the labeling of reports and documents printed through Word to show the report name, instead of a non-descriptive ".tmp" file name.

Bug Fixes & Stability Enhancements
- Fixed an issue with 64-bit operating systems which prevented the email preview from functioning.
- Added countries that were missing from the country list, and updated some Canadian provinces.
- Fixed an issue where the minimum night stay warning was not appearing for properties configured to manage rates by room type.
- Fixed various data related issues with the Reservations reports, that were causing some reports to fail for some users.
- Gift certificates can now be previewed before emailing.
- Fixed a browser specific bug with the Booking Engine which was causing the page layout to display incorrectly if the legacy Google Analytics script was enabled.
- Fixed an issue with the Booking Engine credit card validation which was allowing some cards to pass validation.
- Fixed an issue with tax calculations on split group reservations.
- Fixed an issue with the revenue reports which was causing the number of room nights to be miscalculated for reports which crossed a year boundary (e.g. 2008 - 2009).
- Fixed a bug with the housekeeping report where the room status was displaying incorrectly for properties booking by room type.
- Guest Forecast report now correctly handles split reservations with a gap in dates.
- Custom fields now display correctly on the Reservation reports.
- Fixed an issue which would cause a one-time package fee to be dropped in some cases when adding a reservation.
- Departures now correctly appear on the Reservation by Arrival Status report.
- Revenue by Account report has been corrected to group by day.
- Fixed an issue with the Quick search which was blanking out the search query when switching screens.
- Country selected when adding a new customer now defaults to the country listed under the Property Settings configuration (was defaulting to blank).
- State value on the Booking Engine now defaults to "select state" (was defaulting to Alabama).
- The updater will now display a "insufficient permissions" message if a non-admin user attempts to install an update.
- Improved the Quick Booking screen so that long room names are not cut off.
- Fixed an issue on reservations with no confirmation number, which was causing an "unable to add payment to this invoice" error when adding a payment.
- Fixed an issue with Gift Certificate redemptions which was causing partially used gift certificates to disappear from the redemption list.
- Improved message that appears if RezOvation GT is already running and the application is launched a second time.
- Fixed an issue with the Customer List which was causing states to appear as blank in some cases.
- Fixed an issue in the QuickBooks export which was causing cancelled reservations to appear as revenue in some cases.
- Fixed a bug with the customer merge that was causing a crash when attempting to merge a record with an invalid email address.
- Fixed an issue with Gift Certificate payments where refunding a GC was increasing the sale price.
- Fixed an issue with the Edit Customer screen which was causing an incorrect source value to be added if ESC was pressed
- Fixed a crash with reports that would occur when a report contained invalid characters such as / or ?
