The Mobile Booking Engine can be used with any network that provides data access, as long as your mobile device has a web browser and your mobile plan includes data access.
In order to use the Mobile Booking Engine while talking on the phone at the same time, your mobile device and mobile provider must both support simultaneous voice and data access. Currently, the only provider that supports this is AT&T over their 3.5G (HSDPA) network with certain devices. Please consult the chart below for more information.
Alternatively, if your mobile provider has a "shared" plan or "family" plan, you can use 2 devices -- one for voice access and one for data -- at the same time.
Please note that the below chart is believed to be accurate as of December 2007 and should provide give a good overview of current mobile technology in the U.S. Mobile network support and device support changes often, however, so you should confirm the information below with your mobile provider before purchasing any new device or signing up for a mobile plan.
