Overview
When you first use the Web Module, you may receive the following error: "Could not create files! Check the log file for details."

Error message

This error indicates that Guest Tracker has no information about which rooms it needs to tell your Web Module about.

Step-By-Step
1.) In Guest Tracker, go to the Admin - Unit Definitions section.

2.) Select the first unit you wish to have listed on an online service. Click on it once so that it becomes highlighted.
3.) Click Edit to bring up the Unit Definitions screen.
4.) In the center of the Unit Definitions window you will find two options check-boxes, one that says Book Online and one that says Show Online.

5.) If you wish to send information about a unit to WorldRes, select the Book Online option.

6.) If you wish to send information about a unit to your own web site, Webervations, InnRes, or Availability Online, select the Show Online option.

7.) If you wish to send information about a unit to both WorldRes and any or all of the others, select both options.

Check both if you plan to use WorldRes and any other.

8.) Make a selection for each unit you have listed online. If you do not check either box, information about that unit will not be sent to any service.
9.) Once you have selected all of your rooms, your update should work normally.
