Here's what our users have to say:

"I love the fact that RezOvation GT is so similar to Guest Tracker, making it easy to learn. It feels familiar, and incorporates lots of innkeeper feedback. Being able to customize reports is key; GT does exactly what we need it to do!" -- Lyn, Cornell Inn, Lenox, MA

"The import from Guest Tracker went very smoothly and I compliment your organization." -- Ron Vergoz, Still Bay Resort, Diamond Point, NY

What are some of the other ways I can enter dates, instead of just MM/DD/YYYY?

Overview
Guest Tracker allows you to enter dates in a variety of formats to help ease the task of entering date information. The date fields in Guest Tracker will always format themselves to the Short Date Format as it is set in the Regional/International Settings within the Windows Control Panel, but you can type the date into Guest Tracker in a number of other ways as described below.
Valid Date Fields
The information presented on this page will only work in Date fields within Guest Tracker. Valid date fields are the Arrival Date, Departure Date, First & Last Contact Dates, or any other field labeled "Date".
Example
Let's say that you want to enter the date December 15, 1999. You can type any of the following into a date field to do this:
  • Dec 15 99
  • Dec 15 1999
  • 12/15/99
  • 12-15-99
  • 121599
  • 12151999

If the year is not specified, it is determined by looking forward. If today is December 1st, 1999, the following dates will assume 1999 for the year:

  • Dec 15
  • 12/15
  • 12-15
  • 1215

On the other hand, if today is December 20th, 1999, then the above entries for December 15th will assume 2000 for the year.

You can also refer to dates relative to today's date:

  • monday or mon or Mon refers to the next Monday looking forward
  • last mon refers to the first Monday looking back
  • next mon refers to 2 Monday's from now

(You can type any day of the week or the first 3 letters of any day of the week in the above example.)

  • +45 adds 45 days to today's date
  • -45 subtracts 45 days from today's date
  • yes, tod, and tom refer to yesterday, today, and tomorrow (respectively)
