Error 429: ActiveX component can't create object.
| Overview |
| This error can occur when you are trying
to open the Web Module or immediately after you click the UPDATE NOW
button. It tells you that one or more of the system files are corrupted
or otherwise unreadable. This error is easy to clear up, if you have
your Guest Tracker installation CD handy. |
| Step-By-Step |
| 1.) |
It is important that you shut down and
restart your computer immediately before attempting to repair this
error. |
| 2.) |
Insert your Guest Tracker CD into your
computer's CD-ROM drive and wait for it to auto-run. |
| 3.) |
You should be greeted with three options:
Modify, Repair, and Remove. 
Select the REPAIR option before continuing. |
| 4.) |
After completing the REPAIR process, you
should be able to open the Web Module and successfully run an update. |
