| Overview |
| Guest Tracker versions 2.1.7
and above include over 25 standard reports and letters that can be
installed
into Guest Tracker at any time. Many of these reports/letters can be
used "as is" or you can use them as a starting point and
modify them to meet your own needs (Report modification is not available
in the Lite version). If you're not sure what version of Guest Tracker you're
using, click on the Help menu within Guest Tracker and
click on About. The screen that comes up will state the
version number at the bottom of the window. If you're not
running version 2.1.7 or later, download an
update now. |
| Installing
the Samples |

The samples are installed from within the
Guest Tracker Database Utilities. If you are currently in Guest Tracker,
exit out of the program. |

In Windows 9x/NT/2K/XP, click on your Start
button, then Programs, then Guest Tracker, and finally click on Database
Utilities to start the Database Utilities.
In Windows 3.x, you should have a Database Utilities icon in your
Guest Tracker group of icons. Double Click it to start the Database
Utilities.

Click on the Import tab on the Database
Utilities screen. |

Click on the Reports button as shown in
the following graphic.

The next screen you will see will look
something like the following graphic. This window is asking you which
database you'd like to install the sample reports into. It will automatically
pick your default database (usually tracker.mdb). Simply click OK to
continue.

Next, the results will show you which reports
were installed and which ones already existed in your database as in
the following graphic. Only the sample reports that don't currently
exist in your database will be installed. For instance, in the following
results list, we already have the following reports installed Single
Column 3.5 x 15/16, People - Contact Information, Reservations - Arriving,
etc. so they do not get installed again.

Click the Close button in the upper left
corner of the Results window to close the results. |

Click the Exit button in the upper left corner of the
Guest Tracker Database Utilities window to close the Database Utilities.
