There are no choices in my "Connect To:" box for Dial-Up Networking. Why not?

Overview
When setting up your e-mail preferences in Guest Tracker, if you use Dial-Up Networking, a drop-down box labeled "Connect To:" appears. In order for Guest Tracker to dial your connection through a modem, this box must have a valid entry in it.
Possible Solutions
1.) In all versions of Windows:

If your Windows Dial-Up Networking name is 20 characters or longer, the Guest Tracker "Connect To" box is unable to display it.

Change the name of your Dial-Up Connection to something shorter, preferably something 8 characters or less, with no spaces or special characters. For example, the names "Internet" or "Dial-Up" are both probably fine, but the name "# 555-1212!" is probably not (although your system may vary).

2.) In Windows 2000/XP:

The primary cause of this problem in Windows 2000/XP is a missing system file. Previous versions of Windows included a system file named RASAPI16.DLL. Guest Tracker uses this file to communicate with the Windows Dial-Up Networking system. Windows 2000/XP does not include this file.

To correct this, download and install the following patch. Save it to your hard disk or a floppy disk, then double-click on it to install it.

Download RASAPI.EXERASAPI16.DLL INSTALL

3.) In some isolated cases, it may be necessary for you to recreate your Windows Dial-Up Connection to get it to show up.

If you try making a new connection, be sure to use the shorter name suggested in solution 1 (above) when creating it.
