How does the Out of Service feature work?
| Overview |
| Taking a unit out of service
is a feature of Guest Tracker that was added in version 3.0. Details
about how to take a unit out of service are shown on page 5-14 of
your What's New In Version 3 manual. The question not fully addressed
in the documentation is how taking a unit out of service affects
the automatic occupancy percentage calculations in Guest Tracker. |
| Details |
- Units that are out of service are considered
to be unoccupied.
- Guest Tracker calculates occupancy by figuring
the number of full units divided by the total number of units.
Taking a unit
out of service does not remove it from this calculation.
For example, if you have 10 rooms with 9 filled and 1 out of
service,
the occupancy percentage will show as 90%.
