How do I un-cancel or un-check-in a reservation?

Overview
Guest Tracker does have a feature that allows you to change the status of an existing reservation. This is particularly useful for un-canceling reservations.

NOTE: You must have version 2.1 or higher to use this technique the way it is described here. If you are not sure which version you have, click on Help on the Guest Tracker main screen and then About to find out. If your version number is less than 2.1.6, you will need to download the latest update for your version of Guest Tracker.

Step by Step
1.) Go to the Reservation Detail of a reservation that you would like to Un-cancel or Change the Status.
2.) In the bottom left hand corner of the Reservation Detail screen, you'll see the current Status of this reservation. This example will use a Canceled reservation. Click anywhere in the box containing the Status.

3.) This will pop-up a window that has one option in it called Pending/Confirmed. Click on the Pending/Confirmed option.

Click on CANCELLED: Click on PENDING

4.) This will change the status of the reservation back to Pending.

Status: Pending

NOTE: If the reservation should have a CONFIRMED status (i.e. there is a deposit posted to the invoice that matches or exceeds the amount in the Deposit Required area, there is a Credit Card number typed into the Hold Credit Card area, or the None Required option is checked), then it will automatically become confirmed when you either Assign a Unit, View the Charges or Exit the Reservation.
