How do I set up the Web Module to update WorldRes?

Overview
The WorldRes portion of the Web Module is included for free in Version 3 (and above) of Guest Tracker. You will need to contact WorldRes and sign up to use their service prior to using the Web Module to update your information with them.

Once you have activated your property with WorldRes, you can use the Web Module to send updates to the web site calendar they have set up for you. To do so, you will need to go through the setup process with their representative to be sure that the units you are sending to them update the same units on their web page.

In Guest Tracker, you will need to make sure your units are properly configured (see How Do I Set Up Guest Tracker To Work With The Web Module) and then you will need to put information into the Web Module.

Step by Step
1.) Open the Web Module by double-clicking on it's desktop icon or by going through the Start menu.
2.) Click the Options button, on the right edge of the Web Module window. button on the right-hand side of the Web Module window.
3.) This will open up the Options window on the General Tab. In the upper-left corner you will see the Services available to your Web Module.

When you put a check next to the service you are interested in, a tab will appear for it at the top of the window.

If you have not purchased the expanded Web Module, only the WorldRes option will be available.

4.) Click on the WorldRes Tab to open up the WorldRes settings page.

5.) You need to key in the Property and Organization codes issued to you by your WorldRes representative.

Displaying availability is done either by individual units or by groups of units (as set apart by the CLASS you have assigned them to in Guest Tracker). In this example, we are set to show our listings by Unit. There is only one unit listed in the availability window. That means this is the only unit that Guest Tracker has been told to send information to WorldRes about.

CAUTION!: If you make changes to the units you send information about, or if you change from displaying by Unit to displaying by Class (or vice versa), be sure to contact WorldRes so that they can make matching changes on their end.

6.) Do NOT enter or change the FTP settings without explicit directions to do so from either Guest Tracker or WorldRes!
7.) When finished making any required changes, click OK to close the Options window.
