How do I change my WorldRes server name in the Web Module?
| Overview |
| On Tuesday, October 22, 2002, WorldRes
moved the servers that handle incoming availability information. That
means the
Guest Tracker Web Module needs to have the FTP server name changed
to match the new location. This is an easy change to make in your Web
Module settings. NOTE: This only applies to those properties using Guest Tracker
3.1 or earlier. If you have updated to the current version of Guest
Tracker, this change should have been made for you automatically.
|
| Step-By-Step |
| 1.) |
Open your Guest Tracker Web Module. |
| 2.) |
Click the OPTIONS button.
|
| 3.) |
In the Options screen, click on the WorldRes
tab.
|
| 4.) |
In the lower-left corner, click the FTP
Settings CHANGE button.
|
| 5.) |
A warning will appear.
Click OK. This FAQ is a RezOvation representative.
|
| 6.) |
This brings up the WorldRes FTP settings
page.
Be careful not to change anything here other than what is specified
in the next step!
|
| 7.) |
The Server Name shown
above is incorrect. You must change your Server Name to "ftp.worldres.com",
as shown here.
|
| 8.) |
After you have made this change, click
the OK button at the bottom of the window.
|
| 9.) |
PLEASE NOTE: If you
click the RESET DEFAULTS button, the Server Name will revert to the
old address! If you reset
your defaults or reload Guest Tracker or the Web Module, please check
to be sure that the Server Name you are using is set to "ftp.worldres.com" and
not to any other server name! |
