RezOvation Desktop FAQs : Booking Engine : Error Messages

I'm receiving an error "429 ActiveX component not registered" error when I try to run Verify Configuration or Verify Occupancy.

You will need to install the SOAP toolkit. Please see the SOAP toolkit install instructions for more information.

I am getting one of the following error messages: HTTP transfer error 12017 operation cancelled; Run time error. 35761 request timed out; HTTP transfer error 12029 cannot connect. Please check your Internet connection. What does this mean?

This typically means that you have a firewall issue or an Internet connection problem.

If you have a firewall installed on your computer, you will need to make sure that RezOvation is added as an exception or allowed access before you attempt to upload your information. Usually, this means adding the RezOvation program as an exception or allowed program to your firewall configuration. You will need to reference your firewall's help menu to learn more about your firewall.

If you are unsure whether or not you have a firewall, please contact support. If your firewall is operating correctly, and you are receiving these errors sporadically, then you should check with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to see why you are having connection problems.
