Q: Why are reservations made through my website not appearing in RezOvation Desktop?

A: Your Auto Updates may be turned off in RezOvation Desktop. Look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen, and you should see either a check mark or an ‘X'.

If you see an ‘X', navigate to File > Online Availability > RezOvation Booking Engine and select Auto Update.

Note that in some cases, your Internet connection may not be consistent, e.g. you may be using a satellite or wireless connection. The Booking Engine attempts to update availability and download reservations every few seconds, so if your Internet connection is unavailable for more than a few seconds, the Auto Update feature may be turned off.

You should also receive email confirmations from the RezOvation Booking Engine servers. You should check your email periodically if you are having problems with the Auto Update feature.

Note: If you have multiple computers using RezOvation Desktokp on a network, then the Auto Update option should only be enabled on the main PC or "server" computer.

Q: How can I tell what reservations were made online?

A: There are two ways to access your reservation information:

1. Access the Recent Reservations list by clicking on the check mark at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen and selecting “Show Recent Reservations”.




You will now see a “recent reservations” list.



2. Check your email. The Booking Engine will send you a confirmation for each reservation that is made.
3. If you are on RezOvation version 2004.5.7 or later, reservations sent down from the booking engine should be bi-colored.
