RezOvation GT has many powerful built-in marketing features. You can quickly filter your customers or reservations by almost any criteria, including custom fields that you define. Once you have created a filter, you can:
- Send email to the filtered customers or reservations using a custom letter
- Print letters for the filtered customers or reservations using a custom letter
- Create an email list of the filtered customers or reservations for use in an email marketing application, such as iContact
- Create a mailing list of the filtered customers or reservations and then perform a mail merge in Word to create mailing labels

Q: I have a list of guests' information saved in my email program. Is there a way to upload this information into RezOvation GT?
A: Yes. You can import a list from another software program, such as Outlook or a legacy property management software, into RezOvation GT.
- Create a CSV (comma separated list) or Excel file with the customer data. This can include name, address, email, phone, notes, and custom fields.
- Download the RezOvation GT customer list template, and format the data within the template. You must use the supplied template otherwise the import will not work.
Note: If you would like to import referral source information, then you must first add the source to RezOvation GT. Referral sources can be defined by selecting the Referral Sources link under Configuration in the User Definable Lists and Fields section.
- Open RezOvation GT and select File > Import Customer List. Browse the location where you saved the customer list template, and open the file.
- The customer list will be imported for you. If there is a problem with the formatting, an error message will appear.

 Drew has worked for RezOvation for more than two years, starting as a Rezovation support technician. He provided assistance to innkeepers on a range of questions and technical issues, while learning about the industry as a whole. He then moved to QA (quality assurance), doing daily testing on various coding and feature additions for RezOvation GT, providing feedback and input on all the software changes. After six months, he became the RezOvation Support Manager, where he provides Level 2 support for both innkeepers and our staff.
Drew says he enjoys the friendliness of his co-workers and innkeepers, which creates an enjoyable and interesting atmosphere.
